call of duty modern warfare 2

    I just got call of duty modern warfare 2 two weeks ago and i have to stay that it was a really good game. All i been doing on it is online matches. I have not evens started campaign mode so i got no idea about the story line. I would recommended this game to people that like shooters. I will keep you sitting on your ass all day playing the same game. What i enjoy about the game is that you get to play with people around the world and there are a bunch of differ types of matches you can play with lots of weapons to use and unlock attachments for. Right now i am using the M4 carbine, it's a ok mid range gun - up close gun to use, but i would stick with it the whole time. the only reason i am using it is to unlock the stuff and getting points for it. My favorite gun that i have used so far is the tar 21, it has a high damage and high firing rate which makes it good for up close and with the red dot attachment it is also good for mid range.
    This game is worth every penny you spend on it. The online mode will keep you playing forever. Game informer gave the game a 9.75 which is a really hard score to get now a days while the first one got a 10. I personally think that this one was better because the much more attachments and so far i don't fine any gun being alot stronger then it is in real life like the M16 from the first modern warfare. I am hoping for them to make a third call of duty because it is one of those games that you would be enjoying for a long time with a great online play.
 
 

One Friday of last week me and the cr...

    One Friday of last week we skated the school for a while then left at 6. We went to go get some food ended up at nob hill. After eating we skated next to the AT&T store for a hour then headed back to quickies. I had no money so i played cards with my friend inside quicklys and won 2.50 and got milktea. We skated to Micky D's so i could spend the last buck on a burger and we went home after that.
    Saturday was my friend's birthday party so we went to the park to chill. We skated in the tennis courts and this one old white guy came in being an ass. After he left we went back inside and started to skate it again but this time the cops came and kicked us out and told us to go on the basketball courts. While we was over there, we met 2 skaters and one of them was pretty good, what sucked was when i was playing him my left cab cramped up and it started to hurt like hell after that, but i stilled continued the game and lost.
    On Sunday, we went to San Francisco to skate some stairs and ledges. What was to be a 10 people skate session turned out to be 3 because people had bailed out. We started with the four stair in this plaza near the bus terminal and left after 30 minutes. We went to the metreon and went to the arcade for a while. After that it was time for some food at micky d's for like the 2nd time in todays which is sad. When we were done eatting we went to the libary to skate the stair and the ledges were unkinked which was good, but what made it great was that it was already waxed and ready to grid. While over at the libary i also hit the stairs and then at the farther end of the stair was a 5, i asked my friend to do it once so i could have some confidence, and with in 2 trys, i had hit my first 5 stair, and got the great feeling of acomplishment

    My friend and I decided to hit the business park on Monday since we heard that it had some nice ledges and gaps to hit. When we found it, we notice that not guards were around so it was good to start the skate session. We started with this one wide ledge and ollied it for a bit ad then grinding the sides of it. When we went deeper in to the business park we saw the gap and it was pretty big. It had the top surface then a grass pit to and another drop with an alright landing, only problem was to get high and fast enough to clear the grass and land on the ground without kicking out.



    On Tuesday, we was going to have a big skate day but it did not turn out as planned because more then half the people didn't show up and we ended up skating the school yard again which is getting hella boring since we skate it all the time. What would make the day worst is that while at quickly's just chilling, my friend's phone got jacked and it was a big mood killer, and just to make thinks worst my parents forced me to go home and i was not able to go to the post office. Tuesday had start off as a bad day and ended the same way, this was a big disappointment to all of us.

    Over break i had skated everyday. I even skated on Thanks Giving day after i was done eating with the family. This was the break i was waiting for to get my mind off of school for a while and so i can relax my mind. On Saturday, i did my first 5 stair drop, but i could hit the 5 with the steps because i kept kicking out while in the air. Then on Sunday i did my first 4 stair and it felt really good to land it after my second try.

    

Today's skate session was really good...

    Today's skate session was really good even thought it started out looking to be a bad day to skate. During lunch time was when skating after school was going look really ugly because it was just pouring rain everywhere and the ground was soaking wet. Thankfully as 5th and 6th period went by, the sky started clearing up and there was a little bit of sun shining that gave me better hope for the skate session. The whole crew knew it was going be raining to we had already planed to skate the parking garage near long where it was dry and good enough place to skating during this crappy weather. After school ended i was excite to see that it had completely stopped raining but since the school flat ground is made of tar, it stays wet longer then the cement. We then headed to my friends house to get his board and shoes and went to met up with a member of the crew who was skating at the PE area of the school. It was nice to see that the ground was dry so we started skating there, only downfall was that it was hella cold at first.

    After a while more of our skate friend from saint joes came and started skating with us. At around 6 one of our friend had to go home so we went to get our stuff at his house then left to south shore. After bout 10 minutes of skating in the parking lot the guards came and told us to leave and so we went to micky D's and chilled for 30 minutes. After skating at the court house for 20 minutes the cops came and told us to leave, it was kinda scary at first because we thought that they was going do something to us. as time went by we ended up at the post office and got home at 11:45. i gota admit, to day was a good day.

This week was totally really

    This week was totally would have to be the mixed week i have had in a while. If we didn't have Wednesday off, i would have died from all the work. I finally realized that i should be be thankful for block days since it put less stress on you homework wise. Tuesday was one of the better days of this week because we had a really long and fun skate session. Today skate session was alright but nothing compared to how fun tuesday was. I was really excited when my deck came on tuesday since my other one had a really big pressure crack in it.
    What made tuesday such a great day was that there was not school wednesday so we could stay out longer and skate. We were at saint joes school most of that day and had a really big tournament of S.K.A.T.E which is a skateboarding game that is similar to the game HORSE but instead you play with skating tricks. There was so many people playing in the tournament that it took us an hour to get to the final rounds to decide the winners. It was chris, michael and I that faced off in the finals and i was getting my ass handed to me through most of the game and was at T after a matter of minutes. After being at T for a while it was finally my turn to do my tricks and i fired back with tricks i knew they couldn't do and had them both at T and then i bailed and it was michaels turn. I was so nervous during both there turns because i knew they had tricks that i can spin but never able to land on the board, but lucky they both bailed and it was my turn again and i landed the double flip. They both couldn't do it and i won. Chris could have done better but it felt like he was not even turning because 1 on 1 he would whoop my ass all the time, and michael 1 on 1 we would be neck to neck in a game of skate. Then the day ended with a sleepover that had 3 hours of sleep to it.

This week was pretty exciting for many reasons. School work was pretty easy except the fact that i couldn't get home on time do publish my blog post. Skate boarding this week was really great because i got my dolphin flips back and not a lot of people can do them. I also got four new nollie tricks that i could use to get people with in a game of skate. Today also happened to be really fun because i met new people.
    After school today it was raining and there was no way we was going skate in the rain because it was going mess up our skate boards. We went to the parking garage to skate on the fourth floor which was pretty dry and roomy to have a skate session. At around 6 o clock a po-po came up to us and told us to leave so we skated to south shore and was skating at the school. After a hour of just chilling we left to south shore to hit the post office and get some food. It was hella sad because we got kicked out in like 5 seconds of skating in the back. We ended up hanging out in front of old navy till we had to walk our friend back to Saint Joes school. When we dropped our friends off my skate crew and I went to keelans house for him to grab his stuff to have a sleep over at michael's house. We got the bus stop at 11 and got back to bay farm at 11:30. When we got to his house he didn't have his keys so we were outside intill his dad got back. Even if it had it ups and downs today was a pretty good day overall and hopes next week is better.

    This week went by really fast. I Couldn't believe it is friday night already. This week was pretty fun considering that i had lots of skate time this week. Today's skate day was pretty nice. We went to the landing on bayfarm then san joes after that. There ground was pretty smooth and had no one bothering us so it was awesome. I tried to ollie their trash can but it was way to big for me to make it. The times i did go over i threw my feet out for some odd reason, i think it is out of fear that i might slip. We also tried to hippy jump the bench. My friend was the only one that could make it over. When i tried it, my board would pop up. I have no idea how to keep it under you while your jumping. I met this one guy today and he was pretty cool. Had some nice tricks but i lost on easy tricks that i bailed on because earlier in the day i feel really hard on my back and it was not a smart idea to skate after that but i still did. Even though i got some regret about it, i still had fun skating the whole day.

    This week i got boarderlands for the PS3 and so far it is really fun and it is keeping my awake all night. What i like about the game is that your in a really big map just going around killing people and you don't have to follow the story line. The reason i wanted to get the game was because the preview of it was well done and gameinformer gave the game a 9.5 which happens rarely after their scoring system got stricter. I would recommended this game for everyone that enjoys first person shooters with a little bit of RPG in it.

It is almost two months off school al...

    It is almost two months of school already but it only feels like the first month. When we did the SAT essay in class i, i was just freely write but i think i got off topic a little bit so i am not sure what grade they would have gave me on that. Even though stuff was just coming to my mind about the topic i did not feel that i did well on it, but it only a practice on so i am not over reacting. I also feel that my spelling was bad on it so that would have lower my grade even more. I was able to relate that stuff with skateboarding which was the reason stuff just popped up in my mind.
    I am excited for this weekend because i am going to watch paranormal activity tomorrow with a group of friends. Even though it is a scary movie i really want to watch it for some odd reason. I heard mixed reviews about it to so i am going see it for myself. Some people said that it is one of the scariest they have seen but others say it was not even that bad except for the end. It was hard to get someone to buy our tickets and go with us so we could get in but it all worked out and some how there is 17 people going now which in my mind is hella people for a movie group. It started with 9 people so it is ridiculous on how the numbers went up so fast.

    Today's skate sessions was alright. I have finally decided that i needed to switch shoes becasue my nikes are died after skate in them for a while now. I also would want a new deck because the tail is getting flat and my foot keeps slipping off which makes it hard to skate and it also lost it pop so everything i do now is hella low to the ground. The only problem is that i don't have any credit card to order it and my dad is not letting me use his because he thinks i am spending to much money on skateboarding.

This week was pretty bad. I was freaking out bout my grade because the
blog that i typed last friday, i didn't post it as i thought i did so
it dropped my grade 19 percent or so. I had and APES test on wednesday
and it was pretty hard and i got a C on it which disappointed me. The
only good things that happens this week was a good session on tuesday
and wednesday afternoon. Today's skate session was really ugly and bad
for my arm. I tripped on a rail about 3 feet of the ground and land
with all my weight on my palm and it really banged up my arm. After
that happen my i had to use my shirt to compress it, and i started
skating again. When it stopped bleeding i feel again and scarped a
bigger hole it it starting stinging like crazy and it did not look to
good. I was not doing to well in skate either so that did not make my
day any better. I meet new people today while i was skating at alameda high who i think go to school at lincoln middle school. One of the things i am looking forward to is watching Paranormal Activity because it seems like a good movie even though i heard that people where scared as hell and some couldn't sleep for a while after seeing it. What was unbelievable was that some left the during the middle of the movie since they couldn't handle it. I also found out that i am going to the Haunt thing at Great America on the 30th with my friends and we are going be out there tell 12 because there is going to be a big event happening which seems fun I heard that they give out a hella candy so i can't wait.

This week went by pretty slow and was not really fun. Today skate session was pretty bad considering i almost pulled my right cab muscle. The two subs i had today were pretty weird so school was pretty dole. I had 3 tests/quiz that i took today. Two of them where pretty easy but the ap physic one just killed me. Even after school ended most of the class was still taking the test when i left. In APES we started our 5 bottled eco-column. I looks to be a long project because we are working on it for 10 to 12 weeks and taking data on it bout once a week. My group did are first observation today while we pured the distilled water in to the top of the eco-column. When that water got to the aquatic camber, it was no longer clear and was a pee colored water. I am really looking forward to this experiment because i am going to get to learn more about how the eco-system works and renew it's resource and how the measurement of different things change over time. I am also looking forward to getting to know my group members more because i barely knew their name before we started the project and it is always nice to meet new people, and work together with people that are not part of your race because it interesting see if some stereotypes are true or not. One of the highlights of this week is the the video of that black and asian women fighting on the bus in San Fransisco, it kinda proved that not all black people are a mean and aggressive and that asian people could be violent, because at first i thought the asian women was going get her ass beat but it turned out that she was beating on the black lady which just surprised me.

I notated this paragraph by reading through it and then highlighting the most important parts of it. I agree with the article because it is true that most of us grew up around our own race, which indeed gave us little opportunities to interact with people out of are race. When i was a child, i was always around my family members, and the first time i talked to a person that was not Vietnamese was probably in pre-school. Even though it is not right, there is still segregation in the world because lots of people want to around there kind, but also because of stereotypes that make us not wanna live near those people.



The impact of racism begins early. Even in our preschool years, we are exposed to misinformation[3] about people different from ourselves. Many of us grew up in neighborhoods where we had limited opportunities to interact with people different from our own families. When I ask my students, “How many of you grew up in neighborhoods where most of the people were from the same racial group as your own?” almost every hand goes up. There is still a great deal of social segregation in our communities. Consequently, most of the early information we receive about “others”—people racially, religiously, or economically different from ourselves—does not come as the result of firsthand experience. The secondhand information we do receive has often been distorted, shaped by cultural stereotypes, and left incomplete.

This week of school was

  This week of school was flew by pretty quickly. The most stressing thing this week was going my scrAPES that i had held off till Thursday night, and suffer the consequences in losing sleep. Now i learned my lesson on the timing of the scrAPES and holding it off till the night before is stupid. The lost of sleep affect my day today in a negative way because i was falling asleep all day and could not stay awake, and after i had a nice lunch i was just ready to take a nap. One of the more shocking things i discovered today was that people were suspended for cheating on the APES chapter 1&2 test, and the teachers did not seem to happy about it, but i think the class was let off easier considering the amount of people that cheated. After school was pretty boring today, what was supposed to be a big skate day turned out to be the worst one this year. Everyone was all over the place, some of my friend went to the skate park and most of them had left by 5. I just watch the video with the San Fran officer threatening the kid then later say he didn't. The video shows that cops have a negative stereotype on skaters, think they we destroy and vandalize all the places we go to. After all the video over the pass year involving skater vs police, my ideas about them have changed deeply. I have basically internalized that idea that all cops want is to give people us hard times because they have nothing else today and that lots if them are abusing their powers. I wish skaters could be respected and not treated like crap by the police. Things would be much better if cities everywhere could set up a place that we could skate or not act like skating is a crime because it is the way they do things sometimes just causes more problems for them it if ever gets online which have great chances no a days thanks you our technology.

I can't believe that i am done with the third week of school already. This week was one of the best weeks i had in a while just because of the fact that i got to skate after school everyday till bout 8 at night, came home shower then homework for an hour or two, then head to bed. While skating this week, i got to know some of the good skaters at our school and got a chance to play them in SKATE which was challenging considering the fact they have been skating a lot longer then i have, but it inspired me to work harder and it finally paid off when i beat one of the beasy skaters at our school. I witnessed lots of amazing things in person. It felt as if i was walking a pro's skate video. One of the guys was catching tre flips going at as fast speed and just rolling away like it was nothing, and the other guys hardflips had a lot of pop which gave it height. Earlier today i saw him Ollie of 6 boards that where staked up and it was just mind blow to see someone go that high. A senior at Island high one foot manuel all four of the basketball courts with out falling, and that would have to be the most unbelievable trick i have seen in my life. He also had casper flips on lock and they were steezy. Today would have to be the best skate session in a while because with played a a tournament and now i am the leader for our skate crew. It was a pretty good feeling to end the week with before i have to finish my scrAPES project this weekend so i have less homework next week, which will hopefully give me more skating time.

Summer has finally ended and i have been in school for 3 weeks now. Mr.Sutherland is a pretty cool teacher and one of my favorite teachers this year. He makes english fun and educational at the same time. For Second period i have Mr. Martin who seems to be a pretty cool teacher with a weird sense of humor. Ap Environmental Science with Dr. Griffith's class is also fun, and art is alright. Math with Ms. Harrington is one of the strict classes i have been in in my life. Ap Physic is probably the most difficult class i have taken. School has been tough for me since i am not in the school mode yet, and i am not used to getting lots of homework every night from my AP classes. During the first week of school, i had no time to skate and i was getting nervous and stressing out already. The only homework that i enjoy right now is the english blog post because it lets me let stuff out of my mind freely while i am practicing my typing and writing skills. I feel that junior year is going be time to force myself out of being extremely lazy, cause this year is the most important year if your planing to make it in to a good college. My thought of an Ap classes does not even come close to what i thought it would be. I thought i would just be going at a fast rate then the regular ones but really it tons of studying and homework required to pass the class with good grade. Studying was never really one of my things, instead i would relax the day before the test so that my mind would be fresh during the test. Relaxing also keeps my mind form stressing, which is bad while your taking a big chapter test. I am hoping that i could get myself together before report cards so that i don't disappoint myself anymore than i am now, father more to prove to my parents that skating would not drop my grades in school.

The topics i would like to write about are skating and video games. i would like to write about skating because it is what i do during my weekends. Since i skate a lot, i learn new things that i could blog about each week while i am improving my writing skills. I also would like to blog about video games because there are new games this year that i am looking forward to. After i finish those game i could write a review like blog so other people can get an idea of the game before they buy it. the things i want to improve this year are proof reading, grammar and brain storming. My goal for this class is to be able to pass the SAT testing without any troubles and to decide my future job
